About the business
Embark Homes is a custom home builder on Hastings Street in Burnaby, founded in 1995 and run by three hands-on partners, building custom homes, laneway homes and full home, kitchen, bathroom and condo renovations across the Lower Mainland on fixed-price contracts. We designed and built their WordPress site in cream and deep green, with Playfair Display and Bricolage Grotesque headings, photos with one deeply rounded corner, rust line icons and full-width interior photography, wrote the copy and handled the search optimization.
The home page runs from a fixed-background hero into a six-card services slider, a home pricing calculator that estimates a build from what you are building, its square footage and finish level, four featured projects, a three-step process, a testimonial slider and the eleven communities they build in. Six service pages each carry a FAQ section and pull in related projects, the portfolio filters between custom homes and renovations, and each project page states its type, location, time to complete and approximate cost.
